Across Latin America and the Caribbean, movements for sexual rights, body autonomy, and radical joy have long been breaking ground. Activists, educators, and grassroots collectives have been doing the work—quietly and not-so-quietly—pushing back against shame-based narratives with fierce resistance and care.

We didn’t start that fire. But in 2023 and 2024, we had the chance to bring fuel—offering new tools, perspectives, and global connections to deepen and strengthen what was already alive across the region. Through transformative partnerships with UNFPA LACRO, ONUSIDA LAC, and Kimia Pedagogias Criticas, we began exploring sexual health initiatives that incorporate pleasure, well-being, and a positive approach to sexuality. After a successful webinar, our Training Toolkit previously available only in English was translated and adapted into Spanish in 2024, with pilot implementation in Honduras, Ecuador, and Uruguay.
